Togo is the new frontier for Valiant Sports Group in their constant search for the next big youth talent in Africa. Teaming up with a former player that partner of VSG Abdelrahman had coached a few years ago, the agency now has a fresh new market to begin scouting for talent.
Radjab Alidou, a former Togo U17 national team trialist, has become the agency’s country scout for Togo. He will be responsible for keeping the agency informed about all things football in Togo and tracking the up and coming talents. Furthermore, Radjab will be tasked with developing a relationship with the Togo FA to assist with any matters the agency will need in the future.
Commenting on the matter, Abdelrahman excitedly said “I had a few meetings with Radjab to discuss some ideas we both had on what we could do together. It was very evident that we both had the same ideas and it was only natural to want to work with one of my former players. Radjab is a great person and really understands what we are trying to develop here at the agency. We look forward to working closely with him to help bring some of Togo’s finest footballers to the world stage.”
Radjab expressed his delight by saying “I had approached Abdelrahman with my ideas and I was happy to find that he shared the same enthusiasm about Togo that I do. As a former player of his, I know what he is capable of doing and how he works and I believe that with my knowledge of the country and his ability to establish connections in Europe, we will be able to find some great talents to work with together.”
